The fifth annual Compost Ball, a success!

The fifth annual Compost Ball took place on Saturday 2nd June in Dee Why, Sydney, and was a great success!

TV personality Costa the Composter Georgiadis and his chicken Kinky were the host of the evening along with Laurie, the winner of Costa’s Facebook competition: “In 25 words or less let me know why I should accompany you to the Compost Ball”.

The NSW Compost Industry was highly represented, along with South Australia and Victoria states players, counting more than 130 people. Were also present Mr Gareth Ward MP, Member for Kiama, acting speaker of the Legislative assembly, Councillor Connie Harris from the host Council, Warringah Council and Mr Paul Perkins from Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises.
